Luxbubble?
Luxbubble lets users get the best stylist, hairstyle, massage, and other beauty services based on their location. To start using the service, users need to create a profile. Thereafter, they need to choose from the array of service providers available.
Each service provider offers different staff for different services. Two options are available; mobile and salon. The Mobile staff goes to the customer’s preferred location for delivering the service while the Salon staff requires the customer to visit the salon.
Once the service is complete, the customer will get the option to leave a review for the staff and service provider.
About the Project
Project Idea
The project aims to connect users with makeup, manicure, massage, and other forms of beauty service providers depending on their location. For doing the same, Luxbubble is available as an app for both Android and iOS.
Service providers can add their services to the app, from where they can also add, delete, or update information. This includes services offered, cost estimates, and professionals available.
Project Challenges
The most important challenge with the project was enabling service providers from countries other than Australia to offer their services on the platform.
This was due to the issue that only Australian Stripe accounts can be connected to the account.
Another major challenge was to correct live tracking that displayed the wrong route for the various beauty services.
Solution
To resolve the issue of not being able to add offerings by service providers located in regions other than Australia, we added a third-party currency converter on the website.
We also fixed the live tracking feature. Now, customers can get the correct live updates regarding their booked services.
How does Luxbubble Work?
There are a total of three apps available for Luxbubble. These are for users (Luxbubble), service providers (Luxbubble Provider), and staff (Luxbubble Staff).
Firstly, the service provider is required to create an account and then add services and staff. Moreover, they are required to set up payment with Stripe. Next, the service provider needs to add details of staff and services.
Now, the customer will be able to book the service provider according to a specific category. A booking request made by the customer will be received by the service provider and the staff. The user can choose among Mobile and Salon.
Once the staff accepts the booking request, they will see a start button. A complete button will appear once the services are provided. Afterwards, the customer will have the option to review and rate the service provider and the staff.
